We work out how the thing should actually work — what it needs to do, what it needs to remember, and what happens when somebody does something daft with it. That part is us, the same as it has been since 2008. Then we use AI to do a lot of the typing.
When something breaks at three in the morning, we can tell you exactly what it does and why. That sounds like a low bar. It isn't — plenty of people can't, because nobody ever actually wrote their software.

Two things. We build custom software for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools — bespoke applications, system integrations, workflow automation. And we do Shopify development, mostly platform migrations and ERP integrations for retailers who need Shopify to do more than it does out of the box. Plenty of projects are both.
Yes, every day, and we are happy to be specific about how. We work out how the thing should work, then use AI to speed up the typing. A person reads every line before it goes anywhere near you. What we do not do is let it make the decisions, and we do not build with the no-code AI app builders — we tend to get called in to fix what those produce.
All the time. It is one of the most common reasons people ring us. We go through what you have got and tell you honestly whether it is worth patching up or starting again, and you get that in writing either way. Applies equally to something ancient nobody understands and to something built with an AI tool last month.
Yes. Every line of code is written by our team in the UK. No offshore, no subcontracting, no exceptions. We are based in Gravesend, Kent, and we have run the company since 2008.
No. Kent, Essex, Sussex and Surrey are our core regions and we will happily come to you. Everywhere else in the UK we work remotely, which for this kind of work is genuinely no different — most of our clients see us on a call rather than across a desk.
It depends what you need, and anyone who gives you a number before asking is guessing. What we will do is work it out properly and put a fixed price in writing before anything starts, so you are not getting bad news halfway through. If you just want to know where you stand without committing to much, the fixed-price audit is the usual way in.
One of us — Rob or Jason — gets back to you, usually the same day. There is no sales team and nobody will chase you. We will ask what is causing you the most grief, tell you what we think is worth doing about it, and say so if we are not the right people for the job.
