Our Story

Dev Partners began back in 2011 when Rob Sherwood decided to take everything he’d learned in publishing and media — from UNIX systems management to full-scale systems development — and make that expertise available to businesses of all sizes.

Jason Wheeler brought decades of experience across industries to the table. His career began in microprocessor engineering, developing firmware for military and aviation hardware. Over the years he’s worked with tech support firms, PR agencies, dioceses, and large-scale eCommerce operations. That broad background means Jason sees problems from every angle — and finds solutions others might miss.

Today, every Dev Partners project benefits from the combined strengths of Rob and Jason. We’re not a faceless agency. We’re the two people you’ll actually work with — a blend of technical depth, creative thinking, and a shared drive to build software that truly supports how your business runs.

And when we’re not building systems? Rob is usually playing guitar on stage as a semi-professional musician, while Jason is often found scuba diving, gardening, or at the theatre. In other words — we’re real people who love what we do, and we bring that same energy into every project we take on.
