Shopify Development in Bradford

Bradford built its name on wool and textiles, and that instinct for making things still runs through the city, alongside a young population and fresh confidence from being UK City of Culture 2025. We do the Shopify work most agencies don't touch.

You'll be talking to one of us, not a salesperson.

Plenty of agencies. A different kind of help.

There's no shortage of agencies offering Shopify design and brand work round here, and many are very good. If a strong-looking storefront is all you need, you're well served locally. It isn't where we add the most.

We earn our place on the harder work a brand hits once it starts to scale: stock and orders that stay accurate without anyone reconciling them, functionality a theme or app can't deliver, and migrating off an outgrown platform without losing rankings or trading days.

Who we've worked with near Bradford

  • A denim brand in Elland

About 8 miles away. We integrated its old system with Shopify, which is exactly the back-office work we mean.

  • A Catholic diocese in Leeds

Custom software rather than Shopify, written by the same team, and about the same distance the other way.

  • Fashion brands further afield

A women's fashion brand in Manchester with a Shopify store and a custom ERP behind it, and an online fashion retailer in Worcester with Shopify connected to Oracle NetSuite.

185 miles away, working as if we weren't.

Our office is in Gravesend, about 185 miles from Bradford as the crow flies. Day to day it's remote: video calls, a development copy of your store, and Rob or Jase on the phone.

If the project needs us in the room, we'll come up. That's often a joint session with your design agency at the start, so everyone agrees where their work ends and ours begins.

What we do on Shopify

  • ERP and back-office integration

Shopify talking properly to NetSuite, Peoplevox, Sage, Xero or your warehouse system, so stock and orders stay right without anyone reconciling them.

  • Custom functionality

What themes and apps can't do: product configurators, trade portals, account-based pricing and checkout behaviour specific to you.

  • Platform migrations

Off Magento, Visualsoft, WooCommerce or something home-grown, with products, customers, orders and every old URL handled properly.

  • Alongside your design agency

Got a designer you trust? Keep them. They own the look, we own the technical layer underneath.

Everything we do on Shopify.

We've worked with Jason and his team on our Shopify store, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They clearly understood our vision.

Where we spend our time

Less on themes, app stacking and storefront design. More on integrations that really work, custom code for what no app handles, and migrations that protect your data and SEO. Often it's the technical layer your design agency needs to hand off.

Questions from Bradford Shopify brands

  • You're in Kent. Does the distance matter?

No. This work is done remotely, and we have clients from the South Coast to West Yorkshire. You still get a UK in-house team.

  • Can you connect Shopify to our warehouse or ERP?

Yes. Real-time stock, order and fulfilment integration with systems like NetSuite, Peoplevox, Sage and custom warehouse platforms is core work for us.

  • We're on an old platform. Is migrating risky?

Done carelessly, yes. Done properly it protects rankings and trading. We have set processes for Visualsoft, Magento and WooCommerce, and we stage the go-live.

  • Can you build our new store?

Yes, we build stores too, though the custom work behind them is the bulk of what we do. We're happy to work alongside your designer.

  • Do you look after it afterwards?

Yes. Once it's live, we look after it.

What custom Shopify work usually means

The common requests are product configurators, wholesale and trade portals, account-based pricing and custom subscription flows. For a manufacturer or a brand with a trade side, that often means selling to two very different kinds of customer from one store.

If you're making things as well as selling them, the link between what's on the shelf and what's on the website matters more than most. That's the sort of problem we like.

Hello, you get us

Rob on the left, Jase on the right. No sales team and no account managers. One of us is on every job, from the first chat to long after it goes live, and the people writing your code sit in the same small team.

It goes straight to Rob and Jase. You'll hear back from one of us, usually the same day, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people.
