ShopFlow is an inventory and order management platform built specifically for Shopify retailers. Unlike a full ERP system, it focuses on the operations that matter to a Shopify retailer: inventory management, order processing, returns, pick and pack, fulfilment, and courier integration. It does not include global tax modules, multi-entity financial consolidation, HR systems, or the dozens of other modules that push ERP licensing costs into the tens of thousands per year.
The practical difference is cost and simplicity. A full ERP implementation typically costs £50,000 to £150,000 upfront and £20,000 to £50,000 annually in licences. ShopFlow is designed for Shopify retailers turning over between £2 million and £50 million or more, shipping hundreds to thousands of units per day. It is proven in production with UK fashion retailers processing thousands of orders daily across multiple warehouses.
It is not designed for very small retailers who would be adequately served by Shopify's built-in tools. If you are processing fewer than a few hundred orders a day and running a single warehouse, Shopify's native order management may be sufficient and ShopFlow would be disproportionate. For most Shopify retailers, yes. ShopFlow covers the operational requirements that Shopify retailers actually use from their ERP: inventory management, order processing and routing, returns and refunds, pick and pack, courier integration, and finance-ready reporting. The functionality that most retailers never use in NetSuite (global tax compliance, multi-entity consolidation, advanced project accounting) is not included in ShopFlow, which is why the price is dramatically lower.
