Our Stack · Technologies We Work With
Some agencies build everything in the same framework regardless of whether it fits. We match the technology to the problem. Laravel for complex applications, Shopify for ecommerce, WordPress when it genuinely makes sense, CodeIgniter when speed matters more than scale.

Not a list of things we have touched. A list of things we use in production for clients right now.
Complex applications, APIs, bespoke platforms
Lean web apps where speed of delivery matters
Custom plugins, themes and back-office integrations
Custom builds, ERP integrations, migrations
Our own CRM platform, in production since 2011
Legacy modernisation and migration specialists
Relational databases for most production systems
Cloud hosting, CDN, and infrastructure
Frontend interfaces, SPAs, and interactive tooling
The language underneath most of what we build
Laravel is our primary choice for complex bespoke applications. It has a mature ecosystem, sensible conventions, and the flexibility to handle anything from a REST API serving a mobile app to a full back-office system processing thousands of records a day. We have used it to build ERP-style systems, custom CRMs, data pipelines, and back-office platforms for some of the UK's best-known fashion brands.
The reason we reach for Laravel on complex projects is maintainability. Code written to Laravel's conventions is readable, testable, and handable to any competent PHP developer. That matters when you are building something your business is going to rely on for years.
CodeIgniter is lightweight, fast, and gets out of the way. For projects where you need a web application up and running quickly without the overhead of a full framework, it is often the right call. We use it for internal tools, lightweight APIs, and web applications where performance and simplicity matter more than architectural elegance.
It also has a significant advantage when maintaining existing CodeIgniter systems. A large number of business-critical web applications were built on CodeIgniter in the 2010s and are still running. We maintain and extend many of them, and we know how to do it properly rather than bolting on hacks to make things work.
WordPress powers around 40% of the web for good reason. It is flexible, well-supported, and capable of handling far more than the typical brochure site. The gap most businesses hit is not a WordPress limitation, it is an agency limitation. Most WordPress developers work within what themes and off-the-shelf plugins can do. We write custom plugins and themes, and we build integrations that connect WordPress to systems outside the standard connector library.
Where WordPress makes most sense for us: publishers and content-heavy sites needing bespoke editorial workflows, businesses that need WordPress connected to a CRM or back-office system via API, and any project where the client team needs to manage content without developer involvement day to day.
Shopify is our ecommerce platform of choice for mid-market retailers. The platform itself is excellent: it handles the infrastructure so you can focus on selling. Where we add value is in the gap between what Shopify does out of the box and what growing retailers actually need: custom pricing logic, multi-warehouse inventory management, ERP connections, wholesale portals, and platform migrations that do not lose years of accumulated search rankings.
As a Shopify Select Partner, one of a small number certified at this level in the UK, we have a track record across complex Shopify builds for fashion brands including AX Paris, Motel Rocks, and Chi Chi London. ShopFlow, our own inventory and order management platform, sits alongside Shopify for retailers who need ERP-level functionality without ERP-level cost.
CoreCRM is a CRM platform we built because none of the off-the-shelf options did what we needed without unnecessary complexity and cost. It has been running our own business since 2011, and we deploy it as the foundation for client CRM projects where speed of delivery and a proven codebase matter.
The commercial case for CoreCRM on client projects is straightforward: the core infrastructure is already built and battle-tested. Rather than starting from scratch or paying for Salesforce or HubSpot licences for functionality you do not use, clients get a working CRM foundation that we customise for their specific workflows. The hard work has been done. You pay for the customisation, not the rebuild.
To be clear: we are not recommending COBOL. Nobody is building new systems in COBOL and neither are we. But a significant amount of genuinely critical business infrastructure still runs on it, and the organisations running it face a real problem: the systems work, the people who built them have retired, and migrating away carries serious risk if you do not know what you are doing.
We have genuine COBOL expertise, which is rarer than most agencies claim. We assess existing systems, extract and document the business logic buried inside them, and plan and execute migrations to modern infrastructure without losing the decades of domain knowledge baked into the original code. The goal is always to get you off the legacy system, but done properly rather than in a way that breaks things nobody knew were running.

We do not push clients toward technologies we happen to be comfortable with. If a project is better served by something outside our stack, we say so. If it is a good fit for what we do, we will be direct about that too.
