AI Development · Surrey
Software and AI features built into the systems you already use, designed so client data stays where it should and a qualified person still signs off.
We'd rather say that up front than dress the page up. Our office is in Gravesend, Kent. As the crow flies it's about 27 miles to Redhill, 28 to Epsom, 41 to Woking and 43 to Guildford. We'll come to you wherever you are if the project needs it, and most of the work happens remotely in between.
Our nearest clients are just over the border: an electronic security firm in East Grinstead, whose business runs on a program we developed and keep up to date, and an online furniture and homeware retailer in Wokingham, where we connected Shopify to their accounts software so nobody types invoices by hand any more.
What we bring is Rob, Jason and a small team who've built and looked after business systems since 2011, and who build with AI every day, with an experienced developer deciding and checking every line.
Accountants, solicitors, financial advisers, consultancies and other regulated firms all ask the same thing: where does the client data go, and who's responsible when the AI gets it wrong? The answer belongs in the design of the software, not in a memo.
The AI feature is given the fields it needs and nothing else. Under UK GDPR the firm stays responsible for client data, so we keep what leaves your system to a minimum and write down where it goes.
AI drafts, a qualified person approves. The approval step is part of the workflow, so nothing reaches a client because someone forgot to check.
Which documents the AI handled, what it produced and who approved it, logged inside your system, so you can answer the question if a client or auditor asks.
Staff see the matters and clients they should, enforced on the server, not just hidden on screen. The same rules apply to anything the AI touches.
The best first builds are boring, measurable and easy to check. For a document-heavy firm, that might be:
Before any of that, the consultancy question: should this be built at all, or does your existing practice software, or an open-source tool, already do most of it? We'll tell you. What a build like this tends to cost, and where AI lowers the bill, is in what AI-built software costs.
Surrey isn't only professional services, of course. Guildford, for one, is one of the UK's best-known games development clusters. Studios like that have their own developers; where we'd help is the business side, the systems that sit around the creative work.
We build the AI-assisted way: AI writes much of the code, and an experienced developer designs the system, reads every line, tests it and owns the security. There's more on that in AI software development, done properly.
If somebody has already built a tool with Lovable, Bolt or Replit, check it against our security checklist before client data goes anywhere near it. The AI Code Audit is a fixed-price written review if you want us to look, and we can rescue one that's already in trouble.
If what you really need is someone to own the whole technology picture, that's our fractional CTO, or the lot as Your tech department.
Yes, if it's designed for it: only the data the job needs, a person signing off anything that goes to a client, access rules enforced on the server, and a record of what the AI did. Check your own professional body's guidance as well.
It depends on the AI service the feature uses. We choose it with you, check its terms on retention and training, send it only the fields the job needs, and write down where the data goes so you can answer that question yourself.
Yes. We log which documents it handled, what it produced and who approved it, inside your own system, so there's an answer if a client or auditor asks.
Not yet. Our nearest are in East Grinstead and Wokingham. We're in Gravesend, about 28 miles from Epsom and 43 from Guildford, and we'll come to you if the project needs it.
Sometimes, and it sounds confident when it does. That's why we build in a sign-off step and choose jobs where the output can be checked, so the AI drafts and a person decides.
Which systems you use, what kind of client data you handle, and the jobs that eat the week. If your existing software already does it, we'll say so.
